IPEdit Winner of TVBEurope Best of IBC Award
IPEdit, the new live editing solution from EVS, was selected by the editorial team of TVBEurope to receive one of the Best of IBC Awards in the live production category for IBC 2008.

The TVBEurope editorial team spent five days scouring the 12 halls of IBC to unearth the most outstanding 30 new products for their innovativeness and commercial potential -- for instance, the ability to save money for the end-user, as well as technological excellence.
IPEdit, part of EVS' IPDirector Suite, is the very latest solution from EVS, and offers timeline editing functionalities with unmatched speed performance based on the XT[2] server's reactivity with no rendering process required for playout. IPEdit was unveiled at IBC 2008 for the first time, to much acclaim.
The editorial team at TVBEurope recognized that IPEdit offered a better and faster way of editing live highlights and was a significant evolution for live sport and fast turnaround time production.
"EVS is very proud of the reception IPEdit got at IBC this year," said Pierre L'Hoest, CEO of EVS. "Internally, we all think IPEdit is a phenomenal editing tool, and the recognition it has been getting from the broadcast market reaffirms this for us."
A review of IPEdit will be featured in the October 2008 edition of TVBEurope.

| Honours For EVS At Amsterdam Show |
|
A designer of hardware and software for the production and playout of sport, news and TV programs in both live and near-live environments, EVS has been celebrating success.
After five days of high-volume traffic at their booth in the RAI Centre in Amsterdam, EVS concluded IBC 2008 by achieving several honours.
TV Technology's editorial team honoured EVS' new XT2web solution with the Star 2008 as the superior technology solution at IBC.
The XT2web solution, combining web and broadcast technology, allows access to XT[2] production server clips and associated metadata through an intuitive web interface, offering clipping, playlist creation and download capabilities.
"The XT2web enlarges the production scope of EVS live and near-live production systems, such as the XT[2] sever and related software applications," said Pierre L'Hoest, Chief Executive Officer of EVS
EVS was also part of the Live Earth broadcast, which won the IBC 2008 Innovation Award for content delivery.
The Live Earth broadcast was the largest global broadcast in online history, with a system that used over 20 channels of video server ingest, 12 channels of playout, and 60 encoders, in a workflow environment about to process more than 80 hours of content in a 24-hour period.
"EVS is honoured to receive this kind of recognition at IBC," said Mr L'Hoest, President.
"It has been a challenging year for EVS, and it is especially significant that our efforts have been appreciated after such hard work. We are looking forward to another productive year ahead, and are pleased that our colleagues in the field join us in valuing the hours and thought that we have put into our projects."
EVS sells their branded products in more than 70 countries and is capable of providing service in any region. The company has offices in Belgium, France, Italy, Spain, the United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, Hong Kong, China and the United States.
