Ameriprise owns 3.1% of EVS Broadcast Equipment



LIEGE, Belgium, August 16, 2011 - Pursuant to the Belgian Law of May 2, 2007 relating to the publication of major shareholdings, EVS Broadcast Equipment (Euronext Brussels: EVS.BR) announces that it has recently received a notification of the threshold of 3% being crossed by Ameriprise Financial Inc., which now owns 3.06% of the total number of voting rights of EVS.


The notification, received on August 12, 2011, states that the threshold has been crossed on August 10, 2011, and that Ameriprise Financial Inc. controls, through intermediate holding companies, the voting rights of Columbia Management Investment Advisers, Columbia Wanger Asset Management. Threadneedle Management Luxembourg S.A and Threadneedle Asset Management Holdings Ltd, which itself controls the voting rights of Threadneedle Asset Management Ltd, Threadneedle International Ltd and Threadneedle Pensions Ltd.


The 3.06%, or 417,065 EVS shares, are spread as follows:

-       Ameriprise Financial Inc.: 37,561 shares (0.28%)

-       Columbia Wanger Asset Management: 379,504 shares (2.79%)
